It's sometimes amazing that I went from a small-town country girl to a citizen of the world. I always wanted to see the world, and still do, but never imagined my path would take the turns it has. Though I still judge things by the very small town I grew up in, still have my Southern accent, and still enjoy not having everyone know everything I'm up to at all times (small towns offer zero privacy).
I have had a life free of the usual responsibilities for women, so I've been able to indulge my wanderlust and my never-ending need to learn. (With much cringing, I admit I travel with my own tea. Enough for the travel to and from, the entire stay, plus extra days just in case.)
A woman of many radical dichotomies, I am tech-y enough to design my own website but prefer to live in meat-space as much as possible. (She said meat, heh heh.) I prefer real life and the ephemeral instead of relentless technology and electronic trails. What I offer online, I offer for our mutual convenience and safety, nothing more.
